Steve Suffoletto has almost 40 years of diverse industry experience, both as an educator and practitioner.
As an educator, Steve is an adjunct professor at Erie Community College (Buffalo, NY) where he teaches graphic arts printing for over 10 years. At Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) he was a trainer and consultant for 13 years where he created and presented technical public and custom training programs for industry, such as Agfa, Canon, Oce, Kodak, Creo, Xerox, FTA. Popular seminars included Lithographic Variables and Relationships and Color Measurement and Control from Prepress to Pressroom. Steve is the original principle author of “The Press Operators Guide to Printing G7.” Steve also contract trained and consulted for PIA/GATF for 8 years and has spoken at regional and national trade shows, such as Graph Expo and the Color Conference.
As a practitioner, Steve has over 16 years of print production, operations and quality management experience with small to large commercial printers, folding carton packaging converters (UV), and book and newspaper publications. In management, Steve focused on improving customer satisfaction through continuous quality improvement by emphasizing adoption of modern technology, manufacturing process control, and workforce skills upgrade while increasing profitability by improving productivity.
